Contact us to set up an initial appointment. We’ll ask about when you want the test done, your reason for wanting a test, your contact information, some basics about your home and if applicable, your realtor information.

We will schedule a time to access your property. If the test is part of a real estate transaction, we will coordinate with the listing agent. Otherwise, we will schedule access with you directly.

Radon testing requires “closed building conditions” to obtain accurate results. Closed building conditions means that before we test, all windows in the home have been closed for 12 hours, the internal temperature is between 67–77°F, and all fireplace flues closed. 

We will determine the best locations withing your home to place the radon monitors to ensure the monitors are not disturbed and closed building conditions are maintained throughout the test.

Arrangements will be made to pick up the radon monitor, typically 48+ hours after the monitor is placed. If closed building conditions were not met or maintained for the testing period, the test may be extended. We will arrive at the property to pick up the monitor(s). The building is checked again for closed building conditions. The technician will also look for any signs of tampering.

We will upload all the collected data from the tester placed in your home, then analyze and assemble your final results. Payment is required before the report is released. We will contact you to go over the results, answer any question you have, and discuss mitigation solutions, if necessary.
